Als Fullstack Developer bij Rednose ben je betrokken bij het gehele proces van de (door)ontwikkeling van onze applicatie docGen. Samen met je team werk je architectuurprincipes uit, bedenk je nieuwe features en ben je actief betrokken bij het vertalen van wensen en ideeën naar een technisch ontwerp. Je hebt kennis van verschillende lagen van softwareontwikkeling om zo met de juiste oplossing te komen.

What are you gonna build?
DocGen is a web-based enterprise level application that delivers powerful document generation functionalities, with maximum ease of implementation and integration. DocGen is the government-wide standard for the (automated) creation of documents in (State) branding, with which approximately 60% of our ministries currently create their formal documents such as letters, reports, memos and reports according to the house style guidelines. DocGen excels at using complex dynamic forms, which is what makes the frontend of docGen a complex beast!
Wat ga je doen als Full Stack Developer bij Rednose?
Je helpt mee met het bedenken en Agile ontwikkelen van nieuwe features voor docGen. Je komt te werken in het DevOps-team, bestaande uit vijf medewerkers. Samen met je team en de product owner stel je specificaties op, werkt mockups uit, en ontwikkelt samen de intuïtieve front-end-elementen om deze functies een samenhangend en integraal onderdeel van ons product te laten zijn.
DocGen consists of 14 single page apps, all of which fulfill a specific function in the bigger picture. You are constantly thinking about how to improve these apps, in order to take the product to an even higher level.
In addition, you contribute working out architectural issues, where the Frontend is your thing. You think about how to migrate as efficiently as possible from legacy frameworks to contemporary technologies, which is currently our priority. Of course you also contribute to quality improvements for the application by solving bugs and shortcomings. You are actually concerned about visual consistency within the total product, while you understand our target groups and you think about Interaction Design.
Based on your expertise, you actively contribute to sharing knowledge with your team. You write your own tests to take test-driven development to a higher level. You are part of brainstorming sessions in order to give direction to the future development of the product. You apply best practices in the field of typography, in order to pixel-perfectly determine where what goes in the product output.
Wat jij bent als Full Stack Developer bij Rednose
- Javascript kent geen geheimen meer voor je. Je ademt als het ware JS, en hebt uitgebreide ervaring met Javascript Frameworks zoals React en Angular; onze front-end codebase is nu 70/30 React/Angular.
- Onze backend is PHP met Symfony.
- Skilled in creating and improving complex Single Page Applications
- Ervaring met Test Driven Development. Wij gebruiken Cypress
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration
- Experience with revision management. We use Gitlab
- Op de hoogte van nieuwe ontwikkelingen en technologieën.
- Je bent proactief, leergierig en betrokken.
- Pre: Affiniteit met UX-design
- Pre: affiniteit met Visual Design-aspecten van software.
In addition, you are ambitious, driven and eager to learn. You are able to operate independently, but you are also a team player. You are a wizard with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, and you have experience with single page app development. You can empathize with our customers and you translate their wishes into tight code. You have In-depth knowledge of the various Frontend frameworks, allowing you to play an advisory role in architectural issues. You have at least 4+ years of experience as a developer and you also stay abreast of the latest techniques and methods in your field.

Jouw team is klein, maar heeft veel ambitie. De ambitie van het team is om met hoge frequentie nieuwe software op te leveren. Dit betekent dat clean code, design voor test en een hoge graad van testautomatisering essentieel zijn! Dit team bestaat uit 8 personen, waarvan 3 gepassioneerde developers met detaildrift en met een grote voorliefde voor elegante code, en een hond met een kleine obsessie voor wortels. We gaan dit uitbreiden met 2 developers. Binnen ons kantoor hebben we een informele en vrije werksfeer, maar ook een royale loyaliteit naar het vakgebied, elkaar en onze klanten.
